    2. Hi all, Tonight I am working on synosising <is that a word?> the chat last evening.. I will post as soon as it is ready.. Some questions will be answered with that, and if any questions remain, they can be answered by Holly (adopted Wisconsinite <g> on this list), and each and every one of us.. Keep ya posted! T.

    1. [WIGEN-L] HELP
    2. Paula Vaughan
    3. Can anyone help me! I have spent the last couple of days on a "simple" task and for some reason I just can't get this right, (Brain lapse, I guess.) I have tried every thing I can think of and it doesn't turn out the way I want it to. I use FrontPage 2000 (I know Holly!) and have tried importing from other programs, I have tried setting up tables with columns, etc. etc. I have the book "FrontPage 2000 for Dummies" and I must be "stupid" as the "Dummies" book didn't help. I can usually figure something out after playing for awhile, but can't figure out what I am doing wrong for this simple thing. All I want to do is set up an index, similar to those in a book. Two colum, each colum with Name and page number, John Smith (Space) 1, etc. in alphabetically order. When I try setting up a table with colums/row, of course when I go to add a name or space in one column it automatically leaves a space in the other column? I know this must be something simple, but for the life of my I can't figure this out. Can anyone help before I am bald! (As I am starting to pull my hair out!) 1. [WIGEN-L] Protecting our WIGenWeb sites
    2. Hello: To all who missed last nights chat regarding the subject title, Tina will be providing a synopsis of the chat and remedies to help us safeguard our sites against those who would use them to profit from unsuspecting genealogists. As for myself, I have placed a disclaimer at the bottom of my main page (thanks to RL who worded it) and am in the process of placing another disclaimer at the top of EACH and EVERY one of my data pages. You can view both disclaimers by going to the following links http://www.rootsweb.com/~wipierce (disclaimer is at the bottom) and http://www.rootsweb.com/~wipierce/12coa.htm (disclaimer is at the top). The second on also contains a way for people to break free from the frames that are being used to make our sites appear as it they are part of another "pay for view" site. You are all free to use either and adapt it anyway you wish. Tina also has links to other examples you might want to check out and can provide those. This guy has not made it to Wisconsin yet, so if we are on top of things, we can perhaps prevent him from using us in his scam. 3. Debbie- But does this actually stop the person from doing this? Does just putting the disclaimer work or do we still have to put the "code" into the html page? As you know from the meeting last night I have no glue about all of this and want to make sure I don't change all of my pages and do it all wrong and have to go back and do something else to them. I have had to do that twice, because I didn't know what I was doing and just want to make sure before I start anything? Thanks for any input from everyone! One of my hottest items to ward off dumb questions like, is Wisconsin Rapids in Wisconsin??? OK, so you might have the patience of a saint, but honestly, some of the questions people are asking are so readily available, makes you wonder how they will ever get REAL research done (grin)... I'm wondering if you do this type of service, finding one's birth mother. I was born on June 27, 1969, in Lancaster, WI at 9:21 p.m. My mother was, I believe, 19 years old. She had a sister, who was 15 (also pregnant and also bore a child around the same month.) Thank you. Paul J. Eichelkraut (adopted name)

Green County gets the honors, Decatur township just north of the Illinois boarder East of Monroe on Highway 11 along Sugar Creek!. Even has it's own land strip just south of town. Not too small, either. Could this be the place? Rita Hi everyone, I received this question below. The only Broadhead, I find is in Pondera MT.. any of you want to claim it for WI?
