Hi, Just wanted to let you know that Joan Benner has a page with a collection of links she has transcribed for various WI counties. I meant to announce the new pages when they went up so that some of the CC's could link to their pages, if they haven't already... Normally I only announce major projects, put in this case, the collection is growing rapidly... They can be seen at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~wiwood/resource/BENNERjm/l-joanb.htm One of the newest links is for Adams Co, WI http://www.rootsweb.com/~wiwood/WLHN/AdamsCoWI/history/teacher.html In addition, I have updated my newest sites at AGHP, WoodCoWI, PortageCoWI, and AdamsCoWI... Soon will be Juneau and LaFayette Counties... This is MAINLY a history site, and I do not plan on duplicating efforts at USGenWeb sites, merely adding another dimension for our researcher to find information... The pages are at: Adams: http://www.rootsweb.com/~wiwood/AHGP/Adam-AHGP.html Portage: http://www.rootsweb.com/~wiportag/AHGP/PORT-AHGP.html Wood: http://www.rootsweb.com/~wiwood/AHGP/Wood-AHGP.html As I update the pages, the red, white and blue stripe will appear on the left of the screen... This way, the researchers will know when they have left the site(s) I maintain... Again, Thanks to Joan for providing informative sites for our researchers. BTW, I found a E KUEHL on Hiles Township - 1909 Altas Surnames : Sandy Ciszewski -- Sun, 12 Nov 2000 - if anyone knows (or can check to see) which KUEHL this is, I would be delighted!!! My Emil Otto KUEHL supposedly left Wausau in 1903 for MN and did not get back until 1930s and then he lived in Saratoga Township... Wondering if there is a connection??? Please feel free to send this to the other mailing lists, and link to the pages for your researchers ... Thanks... R/S MAK __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Debbie- CONGRATULATIONS!! Your site is great! Three years-Hoorah! I know what you mean about doing the work yourself. I didn't have one volunteer until the last few months and Patti and Bev are going full force with the biographies. Your site is wonderful and I hope to aspire to that kind of work. Hello: First, congratulations Paula on a great year! This month also marks the anniversary of my taking over the Pierce County WIGenWeb project 3 years ago. I put my first material online November 20, 1997. Since then we have grown by leaps and bounds (I know, I've been doing most of the leaping and bounding) and now contain over 450 pages of research materials! Latest addition: The Naturalizations, Volume A, for Pierce County are now online. The Declarations of Intent are also complete through "J". Will hopefully be getting to Volume B and C in the next two weeks. Debbie Barrett County Coordinator Pierce County WIGenWeb Project Washington County NYGenWeb Project

Lucia, I am not sure why this was sent to me, as I am not researching this person. Perhaps you were answering a query for someone??? Or perhaps you are looking for Thomas BRADLEY? OK, I got this photo site passed to me, so I will forward it on, however, note my skeptism (sp?)... I tried several surnames and got nothing found, and when I tried by state for Wisconsin, I got 2 hits. A short update this week. Although there haven't been many additions to the site this past week-I am busy checking pages and making sure everything is correct, etc. Great things coming on November 15th. Thanks again to Bev and Patti for continuing to place the Waupaca County biographies on the site. This can be a very tedious and time consuming job and these volunteers are doing a GREAT JOB!! Don't forget to thank them! 47 biographies have been added this past week for a GRANT TOTAL of 531! http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Wi/WaupacaBios See you next week! This affects several counties in the northeastern part of the state so I thought it good to pass it along. Rita Catholic Diocese of Green Bay - Archives Sr. Ella Kaster (Chief Archivist for many years) retired as of the 30th of September. I am here one day a week. No archivist has been hired yet.
