    1. Wirtz Brothers, Holyland
    2. Listers I have just received a private email from a woman in Germany. As best as I can translate, she is looking for descendants of 3 Wirtz brothers and their nephew, who settled in the town of Marshfield. The brothers are Pascal b. 1810, married Katherine Esper, Franz, b. 1827 who married Aelar Maria Magdalena, and Peter born 1831. Their nephew was Johan Wirtz. These Wirtz relatives wrote home from 1850 to 1874, and those letters remain with their relatives still in Germany. The letters also include one picture, and newer research taking the family back to 1612. This woman would like to correspond with any Wirtz descendants of the brothers or the nephew, to send a copy of the letters etc. If you are research this line, please contact me privately and I will forward her email to you. tracy reinhardt

    3. Try going to www.antigogenealogygopher.com click "Sitemap" then scroll down to the Pico search box and type the surname. Large site with lots of links to various records. Go to www.google.com and type: death+Franz Wirtz+Wisconsin Also at www.google.com type: death+Pascal Wirtz+Wisconsin Also try google with marriage+Wirtz+Wisconsin Some of the hits are on google's 2nd page. At www.godfrey.org there are 161 hits for a Peter Wirtz, mostly Sheboygan in the 1920's and 1930's......must be the offspring. Nothing for Franz or Pascal. Godfrey requires a paying subscription for a 1 year membership. ----- Original Message ----- From: <fondygenie@charter.net> To: <WIFONDDU-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 01, 2006 5:50 AM Subject: [wifonddu] Wirtz Brothers, Holyland > Listers > > I have just received a private email from a woman in Germany.
