Surnames: SNOW Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/jEC.2ACE/1360 Message Board Post: Seeking information on the SNOW family of Fond-du-lac; specifically: TUFFLE SNOW, born about 1845, married Marie Sara Bourassa, and had a son Theodore. TUFFLE SNOW served in the 1st Wisc. Cavalry during Civil War. I believe his parents were Joseph and Clara SNOW. They lived at least for a few years in Lamartine. TUFFLE was still living around 1908, and died probably around 1910 or so, in the Fond-du-lac area. I know he had siblings who lived in the area, as some came out to Minnesota around 1908 to seek assistance with the aging TUFFLE from his son, who at the time lived in Minnesota. Any info is greatly appreciated.
