Briggs born in 1860, probably in Fond du Lac County, WI., a James Eugene (no birthdate or birthplace) and an Arthur Adams Briggs born 11 Dec 1882 in O'Neil Co. Nebraska. I don't think any of these correspond to your Arthur Eugene. I know that Arthur Adams Briggs had only one daughter Eleanor and she never married. Eugene T. Briggs is burried in Empire Cemetery, Empire, WI. I don'[t know very much about James Eugene except that he was the son of Raymond H. Briggs and grandson of Eugene T. Sorry I can't help any more than that. There were many Briggs families that settled in Wisconsin in the 1850's. We may be able to link a little earlier if you have some of the ancestors of Arthur Eugene.
