Hello, I'm new to the list and would like to put a few of my Fond du Lac folks up for the viewing. I have Johann Christian Friederich PETERS b. Oct 1839 in Mecklenberg, Germany. Married Anna Friedericke Caroline HOPPE b. Dec 1841, on Jan 17, 1869 in Milwaukee. I have a tentative children's list: Yetta b. 1863, Mina b. Jan 1870, Martha b. Dec 1875, John b. Dec 1878, and a son b.1880. Johann is the son of Martin August Christian PETERS and Dorothea Bertha Elizabeth STAAT of Mecklenberg, Germany. Anna is the daughter of William HOPPE and Friedericke Josephine EBERT of Hanover, Germany This family lived in the FOREST and EMPIRE areas of Fond du Lac County.
