He made trunks, satchels and harnesses in Fond Du Lac. He was born in Germany and lived from about 1828 to 1889 his first wife was Emma ?, had a son Orson (born in Chicago) and possibly 1daughter with Emma and daughter Bertha (in Fond du Lac) with Reinhardt. Bertha married J Misner and then Peter Stuhr from Euclid Minn.Orson's son was John Harrison Musgat married to Gail Stotts whose son was John Paul Musgat married to Mary Jane Nelson. There is supposed to be a biography in Poitraits and biography Album of Fond Du Lac 1889 page 278 but I have been unable to acquire the book Can anyone help?
