D8, c. 4 Frank D. Thornburg, 100, a resident of 244 N. Macy St., the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home Inc., died there on Saturday, Nov. 7, 1987. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Candlish-Mach Funeral Chapel. The Rev. James C. Presig will officiate. Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. He was born Jan. 11, 1887, to A.J. and Rosa Moul Thornburg in Cook County, Calif. In April of 1913, he married Marie Yohann in Fond du lac. He later married Ida F. Konow, also in Fond du Lac. He was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church. Mr. Thornburg served as the constable and marshal for the Village of North Fond du Lac from 1922 to 1932. He was later a line patrolman for the Wisconsin Power & Light Co., until his retirement in 1952. Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Milton (Rosella) Booth of North Fond du Lac; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both wives, o! ne brother and one sister. Memorials may be directed to Covenant Church or the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home.
