Mr. and Mrs. Thornburg were married in 1916. Surviving Mrs. Thornburg, a native of Fond du Lac, are her widower, four children, Ashley Waller, Chicago, Mrs. Charles Chouinard, Oak Lawn, Ill., and Mrs. H.W. Bingen and LaVerne Thornburg, city; six grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Mattie Blackmore, Chicago. Mrs. Thornburg was a member of St. Patrick's church and of the Altar Society, the Third Order of St. Francis, the Daughters of Isabella, the Catholic Order of Foresters and St. Agnes Court 904, W.C.O.F. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at the Geo. M. Dugan funeral home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's church. Burial will be in Rienzi cemetery. Mrs. Clarence Thornburg Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter Friday July 14, 1944, p. 12 Funeral services for Mrs. Clarence Thornburg, who died Tuesday, were held at 9 a.m. today from the Geo. M. Dugan funeral home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's church, with burial in Rienzi cemetery. The Rev. Joseph Beres, assistant at the church officiated. Pallbearers were Edward A. Kenney, John Dugan, Carl Mohr, E.M. Scott, Carl H. Bark and Henry N. Kessler. Members of the Altar society, the Daughters of Isabella, St. Agnes Court, W.C.O.F. and the third Order of St. Francis attended the services. Those from away attending the rites included Mrs. Matie Blakemore, Chicago, Mrs. Charles Chouniard and children of Oak Lawn, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Ashley Waller, Chicago. n.b.
