Born Feb. 15, 1855 in Germany she came to this country when 13 years of age, settling in the Town of Forest and later moving to this city. Funeral services for Peter Beyer, who died Monday after a long illness, were held in Fond du Lac this morning. At 9 o'clock services were held at the Zacherl funeral home and were followed by rites at St. Joseph's church a half hour later, with the Rev. Fr. H.G. Riordan officiating. Burial took place in Calvary cemetery. Mr. Beyer, who had operated the Snappy Construction company of this city for some years, was 52 years of age. He was born April 27, 1880, in Brothertown. On Aug. 28, 1920, he married Maude Thomberg of Fond du Lac. He did not come to Waupun until about five years ago. Surviving relatives include: two brothers, Anthony of Waupun and Joseph of Des Plaines, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. John Nelson, Mrs. Andrew Sanders, and Miss Elizabeth Beyer of Fond du Lac. His mother, Mrs. Catherine Beyer of Superior, is also living, as are his wife and four children, Mrs. Oscar Bonnell, Mrs. Richard Evans, H! erbert and Harold Beyer, all of Fond du Lac. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bonnell and Mrs. Marie Evans, two sons, Harold and Herbert Beyer, one brother, Adolph Soll, and one sister, Mrs. Charles Scherer, all residing in the city; 11 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren. John Nelson, 60, an employe in the Fond du Lac street department, died of a heart attack Sunday while hunting rabbits on farmland seven miles west of Green Lake in company with Frank Longun of this city. He was found by Mr. Longun after the latter began looking for him when he had received no answer to calls. The body will be at the Geo. M. Dugan funeral home tonight, funeral services to be held there at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday and at 9 a.m. from St. Joseph's church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Prior to taking over his duties with the city street department six years ago, Mr. Nelson was employed! as a labor foreman for the Immel Construction company for 15 years. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin Beyer, he was born here and was married in Waupun about 12 years ago to Miss Mary Rambow. She was born Dec. 15, 1887, at Bonduel, the daughter of Friedrich and Wilhelmine Moede Radtke. She was married to Otto Sandmayr on Nov. 11, 1936, in Fond du Lac, and he died in 1948. Her only immediate survivor is a sister, Mrs. Clara Moede of Bonduel. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Bidlingmaier-Hornby Funeral Home. Mrs. Schumacher, the former Mary Hess, was born Oct. 13, 1893, in Waupun, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hess, and had spent most of her life in Waupun. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran church. She is survived by her husband, whom she married Feb. 9, 1946; one son, Alfred Rambow, Tucson, Ariz.; four sisters, Mrs. Ed McCullough and Mrs. Arthur Croft, Waupun ; Mrs. Earl Cornell, Fox Lake, and Mrs. Martin Ochs, Rhinelander; and one brother, Herbert Hess, Milwaukee. Her parents, a daughter, four brothers, and three sisters preceded her in death. Fuenral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Immanuel Lutheran church, with the Rev. Kenneth Kohl officiating. Burial was in Forest Mound cemetery. Mrs. Schumacher lay in state in the Kohls Company Funeral home Friday afternoon and evening. Mrs. Mary Beyer, 119 North Division street, and William Schumacher were united in marriage Saturday afternoon. The ceremony was read at 2:30 o'clock in the Immanuel Lutheran church by the Rev. K.J. Herbener. Mr and Mrs. Alfred Rambow, son and diaghter-in-law of Mrs. Beyer, were witnesses. Mr. and Mrs. Schumacher will reside in the bride's home at 119 North Division street. Herman Rambow, formerly a resident of Kenosha but since 1924 a patient at the Racine county hospital, died there Thursday afternoon. He had bee taken seriously ill early this week and in his weakened condition was unable to rally from it. He had resided in Kenosha for several years, living at 1012 First avenue. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Rambow, who now lives at 239 Franklin street, Waupun. The remains will be taken to Waupun where the funeral services will be held late Saturday. Clara Beyer (Mrs. Charles Brown, Mrs. Andrew Sanders), daughter of Martin Beyer and Katherine Theisen Mrs. Clara M. Sanders, 85, formerly of 86 N. Seymour St., died at 12:15 p.m. Saturday at Maple Manor Nursing Home. She was born in the city on June 22, 1890, a daughter of Martin and Catherine Theisen Beyer. She was married to Charles Brown in the city, and he preceded her in death. In 1913, she was married to Andrew Sanders, and he died Aug. 27, 1934. Mrs. Sanders was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Earl Boehrig and Mrs. Paul Letourneau Sr. both of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Nick Cruciani of Eden and Mrs. Francis Hein of Waupun; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. The Rev.
