Lanzer of Waupun." I read in a history that "the Reverend Lanzer of Waupun helped Reverend Sund serve the Cambria Lutherans" from about 1887-1889. This family line was predominantly Lutheran, so I believe all the pieces fit that this is my Fr. Lanzer. My question: What does the Fr. stand for---surely not Father in a Lutheran Church? I read another message on this board about another Fr. So-and-So, who was a pastor of a Lutheran Church at about the same time. Can anyone help? Thanks from Bertie in Idaho.
