This should have been Johann and Elizabeth. I found the marriage record for Johann and Elizabeth in the St. Mary's Catholic church records in Racine, WI. Johann and Elizabeth were married on June 5, 1850. One of the witnesses was Phil Zirbes. Johann was born on Feb. 5, 1822, and Elizabeth was born on July 22, 1827. Elizabeth's birthdate from her marriage record in Racine, WI matches the month and year given in her 1900 census record in the St. Joseph Twp., Stearns Co., MN. Johann Horsch and Elizabeth Zirbes moved to Stearns Co., MN about the same time that John Peter Rothstein and Catherine Horsch immigrated from Germany to Stearns Co. This information, along with other evidence, indicates that Johann Horsch was the brother of Michael, Christian and Catherine.
