Any of them related to the family of Smith Emerson (1826-1903)? Smith and his wife had five children. Smith was the son of John and Mary (Polly) Emerson. The family went from Vermont, New York, Indiana and then some to Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan. I am from Smith's brother, Sylvester's line.
