Arndt St., died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 3, 1923, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Fred C. and Ida W. Salzwedel Sommerfeldt. On June 3, 1950, she married Robert J. Tautges at the Church of Peace, with the Rev. Karl Koehler officiating. Her husband preceded her in death on March 7, 1998. Survivors include two sons, Brian Tautges and his wife, Patricia, of Fond du Lac, and their children, Lynsey, Cole and Tyler, and Evan Tautges, and his wife, Terri, of Fond du Lac, and their children, Troy, Teri and Tanya; one daughter, Donna Tautges of Redondo Beach, Calif.; and six grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Lt. Col. (Ret.) Leslie Sommerfeldt, and his wife, MaryAnn, of Redlands, Calif.; two sisters-in-law, Dolores Malberg and her husband, Veryl, of Yuma, Ariz., and Jean Tautges of Fond du Lac.
