My grandmother was Georgia Ophelia Stanchfield, who married Gorton Ritchie, and Eleanor's other sister was Margaret Stanchfield Trebilcock. We called Georgia Grandma Dode, and Margaret Aunt Molly. They had a brother too, but I can't remember his name, and I haven't got the Stinchfield Stanchfield book with me. Grandma lived variously in Madison and Milwaukee, and died in New York city in 1997, at the age of 95. Aunt Molly died shortly before, at the age of 100. I guess we're a long lived bunch! I've never been to Fond du Lac, but I have access to photos of Eleanor, Georgia, and Margaret. please feel free to email me, and I certainly hope your mother enjoyed her trip.
