Does anyone have any information on the Rutz family of Ripon after 1916? any members of the family still living in the area etc. Aparently contact with the family there was pretty much lost after my GG Grandfathers death in 1916. His name was Wilhelm(william) Rutz. He was Married to Henriette Bahr. His son Emil and his Cousin Emil (father Augustus Rutz) ran the EF Rutz Cigar factory in Ripon. Emil F Rutz was also poor commisioner of the city for 26 years (what is a Poor Commisioner) some of the familys married into were Timms, Osborne, Jerome, Lentz, and Kruger -- John Rutz I changed my mind but the new one doesn't fit see my pond at http://www.fuerjefe.net also links to my family history
