His wife's name was Abigail and she was from Thompkins County, New York. Peter had served in the War of 1812. Philancy married a Beardsley, though I am not quite sure his first name. Her sister, Angeline B. Smith married Dr. R.W. Middaugh (Richard). The doctor and his wife had a daughter named Angeline, who married Ira Wilcox. Ira was the son of Seymour Willcox and Lucy Newton, original founders of Waupun, Wisconsin. Seymour and Lucy are my ggg-grandparents. Ira's brother, Thurston Wilcox, married a woman by the name of Clara C. Beardsley (b. 1834 in New York). Clara's parents were Hiram Beardsley (b. Connecticut) and Lydia Knapp (b. New York). Perhaps your R. F. Beardsley and Clara were siblings???
