He was dead on arrival at St. Agnes Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack while on the way to work. He was bom Jan. 19, 1918, at Johnsburg, a son of the late Leonard and Wilhelmina Mauer Flesch. He was a veteran of World War H, having served from 1940 to 1945 in the European Theater as a sergeant and interpreter. On Feb. 26, 1950, he married Alice Thomas in Berlin, Germany. Mr. Flesch was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at Johnsburg, Holy Name Society and Abler- Engel American Legion Post 454 of Mount Calvary. Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Eleanor) Gavin of Johnsburg; two sons, Kenneth and Randolph both at home; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Leonard (Delphine) Diedrich of Johnsburg; and four brothers, Eugene and Leonard H. both of Fond du Lac, Gilbert of New Holstetn and Delmar of Mount Calvary. Two sister and a brother preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at HUM Funeral Home, St. Cloud, and at 11 a.m. at St John the Baptist C h u r c h , Johnsburg. The Rev. Robert Bier will officiate, and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends of Mr. Flesch may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.
