The Abhold family lived in Wisconsin when first coming to the US. The Zipp family had 6 children when they came here. I think they came about 1849. Maybe you can find a connection. John Joseph Abhold and his wife Mary Teresia lived in Wisconsin when their daughter Treecy was born on Dec 1878 and a son Peter was also born there, July 1882. This info was on the 1900 Census.
