We're at a standstill and looking for a new lead. My great aunt was born there, as far as we know, and I'm trying to get more information so that I can trace my relatives back to Germany. I'm tracing Katherine (Katie) Kraemer, born in Fond du Lac on January 6, 1867, parents are Michael Kraemer and Gertrude Gross. Michael and Gertrude moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota and had more children. Katherine was their oldest. Michael Kraemer's parents were Jacob Kraemer and Anna M. somthing (don't know her maiden name).
