Rhoda was born March 9, 1932, on a farm in Columbia County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Rev. George and Letha Price. Rhoda graduated from Ripon High School (Wisconsin) and attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo. She married her Spencer Lake Bible Camp sweetheart and love of her life, the Rev. Zenas Bicket, August 28, 1954. Rhoda was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Bethel and brother Paul. She is survived by her devoted husband, Zenas, and three beloved children: Deborah of Springfield, Mo., Daniel (married to Debra) of St. Charles, Mo., and David (Paula) of Overland Park, Kan. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Lorinda Woods and Christopher Gaulter, and five great-grandchildren. Close relatives, almost immediate family, include niece Tammy Johnson (Dwayne), their two sons, Cameron and Nikolaus, and niece Tammy Bicket. Rhoda was raised by godly parents who pastored many churches throughout Wisconsin. Prior to marriage, she taught in a one-room rural schoolhouse in Sauk County, Wisconsin. Throughout her life, in spite of significant obstacles with rheumatoid arthritis, she ministered to others through a wide range of volunteer positions, most recently, working with the married couples Sunday School class at Central Assembly of God with Zenas. Rhoda's interests were wide-ranging, including children's work, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, young women's prayer group, choir, church pianist, painting in various media, travel and love of nature?all to the glory of God. Many friends have called Rhoda their second mother because of her warm personality, sense of humor and devoted love. The funeral service for Rhoda will be in Central Assembly, Springfield, Mo., on Saturday, June 20, 2007, at 1 p.m. Pastor James Bradford will preside, assisted by the Rev. George Wood. A visitation time with the family will be Friday, June 29 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, Mo., from 5 to 7 p.m. Visitation will also be available prior to the service from 12 noon. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bicket Family Scholarship at Evangel University.
