Rose was born Rose Albright in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, the daughter of Agusta Albright and his wife Laura. Rose has siblings by the name(s) of Mary, Barbara (or Bertha), Laura and Emma, and a brother named Gusto. Rose married a man by the name of (possibly) Louis Petters, and she had 3 children by him. Her husband died and she moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where she met and married Wilmer King in about May or June of 1904. Sadly Rose committed suicide on September 6, 1904, she had 4 previous attemps at suicide that year. Rose (Albright) Petters King was buried in Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 8, 1904.
