You are so very kind to have taken the time to reply !!! I had to go in the hospital unexpectedly and haven't been able to reply until now. I appreciate it so very much. I was interested that he had to go to Milwaukee to enlist - I had thought that perhaps there was a local enlistment office. I would still like to find out if perhaps the local newspaper carried items/notices regarding those killed or MIA. I have seen the telegram informing Howard's mother that he was MIA - from the War Department. Deb , thank you again so very much !
