The birth families of your Lawrence Balthazor's parents (Alex and Josephine) are shown below in a series of US census outtakes: 1930 US Census -- Fond du Lac Co., WI (Lawrence as a child): Balthazor, Alexander -- age 63, born Canada (also parents b. CAN), farmer, married at age 45; Josephine -- wife, age 43, born Wisc., married age 25. Leonard -- son, age 17, born Wisc. Richard A. -- son, age 16, born Wisc. Bernard F. -- son, age 15, born Wisc. Meddard J. -- son, age 13, born Wisc. Lawrence B. -- son, age 11, born Wisc. Mary V. -- daughter, age 9, born Wisc. Cecilia -- daughter, age 6, born Wisc. Going backwards to 1880 U.S. census, in search of your Lawrence's father growing up (in Wisc.) = 1880 US census -- Eldorado, Fond du Lac Co., WI: Alexander Balthazor -- son, b. March 1870, with John Balthazor (his father) - age 41, born Canada (and parents same). Mary Balthazor (Alexander's mother) -- age 35, born Canada (and parents same). and Alexander's siblings: Caroline, Zoa, William, Frank, Martin, Joseph, Mary (aka Amelia). Note: John and Mary Balthazor (your Lawrence's grandparents) had a total of 13 children, according to the later 1900 census in Friendship, FDL Co., WI. Among them were also Agnes, Josephine and Malanda. The 1900 census for John and Mary Balthazor also includes John Balthazor's brother Peter (a widower living with them, born March 1829). Regarding Lawrence's mother (Josephine Guyette Balthazar), the 1910 U.S. census shows her with her parents and siblings in Eldorado, Fond du Lac Co, as follows: Guyette household: Alexander Guyette -- head of house, born Sept. 1856 in Wisconsin; parents born Canada; farmer; married 22 years. and Mary -- wife, born Sept. 1861 in Canada, has had 6 children (all still living) and Alexander and Mary's children, all born in Wisc: Alexander Jr. (b.
