Pierre Roy was their son and one of our immigrant ancestors. He was prob born 1838-1844 in France and buried 28 Oct 1721 in Montreal. He is noted as coming from St. Michel-le-Clouq. His wife was Catherine Ducharme, another immigrant ancestor. She was born in 1650, 1657 (both dates found) and buried 21 February 1719 in Montreal. Her parents were Jean and Anne Lelievre. She is noted as coming from St. Benoit de Paris. Here is some info that might help if you are not too familiar with France. St. Michel-le-Clouq - a small village Fontenay-le Comte - archdiocese; NE of LaRochelle LaRochelle Vendee or Poitou France St. Benoit - name of the parish Paris - of course the town and archdiocese Hope this helps Do you want any info about those ancestors from France whose descendents married into our Roy family? I don't know if you've already found your answer, but from census info I believe the "P" Sheridan who owned land in Byron, Fond du Lac Co., Wisconsin was probably Phillip, not Patrick. I have been trying to determine if Phillip and Barney/Bernard Sheridan were brothers, if they were related to Margaret Sheridan Flanigan and if they came from County Caven, as other Sheridans in the area apparently did. --Beth Yockey-- Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 1. Re: [WIFONDDU] Ladwig / Heller / Manz (Manns) / Harder Family
    2. yes, the information I sent on those burials in Union Cemetery in Campbellsport actually showed grave and lot number, and were taken from the Union Cemetery burial records. The Antigo notes show that the person was from that area, but they were still buried in Union Cemetery. tracy reinhardt
