Dear Tracy, I have written you in the past and you have been so helpful to me in securing records for my family. I live in Charlotte, NC and it is difficult getting information through the mail. So, I thank you once again for what you have done in the past and hopefully you are in position to help me again. I am looking for a marriage certificate for a Claude Griffith, born about 1916 and Rachel Denner, born about 1921. It is my understanding that they married in Fond du Lac, most likely in a Lutheran church. Rachel is a second cousin to me. My mother and she were first cousins. I am also looking for a death certificate for a Katherine "Schaefer" Denner, born about 1893 in Russia, and immigrated in 1928. Her husband's name was Henry Denner, born about 1916. She had 5 children, Emil, Arthur, Rachel, Lydia, and Erica. Katherine is my great aunt. Please advise me if this is something you can do for me once again. I, of course, am most willing to pay. Thank you for your time and efforts. Shelby Luffman

Emilie Conrad Loeffler are buried. I did notice that Wood Cemetery is not taken care of all too well. I would appreciate anything you could provide for me. I did see Fairwater has a historical society, and I was wondering when they are open. I live in Sheboygan so it is not a terribly long ride over there, about one hour and 20 minutes from here. Josephine Thomas - that's my assumption too.. that she passed relatively young. On Rosalie Thomas Neibert, I just had a posting from a gentleman (about a year ago) who said he was their great grandson.. so I sent him the blurb from the Willamette Valley history and he wrote a very warm reply and said he had much to share and then I never heard from him again and his email went dead. Hope he reads this ! :) Can you send me what you have on Peter's will?? That's one I don't have yet. Howdy ! We are eagerly awaiting the reopening of Portland's more complete death index and archive,.. for some record of Marie's passing and more early family details. Someone over here has a condolence card on aunt Josephine V. Deville Rach indicating she passed away in Osceola, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, on November 24, 1931. Here's the situation.. Besides the Dag of the girls, I know she also has a daguerotype of Marie, but she just can't bring herself to let someone take them in for reproduction (not even her niece). But nowwww.. I bought a high quality portable digital scanner.. but I think I need some "hostages" to exchange with her. You have any early photos of this clan that are emailable?? Besides my own interet in them.. that might be our best route to these pics.
