They had 5 children I believe before Amelia died. Edward then married Arlene Gervais on 18 Feb. 1889 in Fond du Lac. No info on whether they had children. Flora Trembley, dau. of Edward & Amelia married George Moquin in 1892. I have some details on descendants. Her brothers Ezra and Joseph Trembley moved about 1900 to Contra Costa County California where they lived well into their 80s. I've had no success in contacting any of their descendants. I have some limited info on other Trembley family members.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/jEC.2ACE/270.275.1 Message Board Post: God only knows how I happened across the Friedel name while researching the name, Lyneis, but I did. Your name came up in association with my followup on relatives of mine in FDL name Beaudreous, or thereabouts. I'm assuming you are the same Ron Friedel, who is the son of Norbert and who has brothers Richard and John and a sister (Julie, I think), and who lived at approximately 15 W. Bank St., in FDL. If so, I am the same Richard Lyneis who lived near you. After having a 10-year newspaper career in Appleton, I left there on a Ford Foundation Fellowship to Stanford, and eventually stayed in California where I became city editor of the Riverside Press-Enterprise, and eventually I got into fulltime investigative reporting. That led me to a better position with the Albuquerque Journal in 1986, and I retired from that newspaper in 1998. I've been married to Mary Kay, nee Mary Catherine Effinger, of Milwaukee, for 41 years, and we had three children, Susan Sirias, Lynn Pedroza, and Paul, who died of cancer in 1995. We now live in Angels Camp, Ca., a small town in California's Sierra foothills, in the heart of what is known as "Gold Country." If you are the Ron Friedel who I think you are, best wishes to you, as well as to Dick, John and your sister.

I have found that the following family names all arrived in Walworth Co., WI in or around 1850: Button, Bartlett, Weter, Tripp (incl. Ephraim), and Nutt. All appear to have arrived from Oneida Co., NY. My research with NY records shows all of there families in Oneida Co. on the 1850 census and shortly thereafter they migrated to WI.
