Dear List Members, Does anyone happen to know where the Rustic Cave and Oasis Roadhouses where located in the 1930s? I am researching robberies that occurred at these two businesses. I have an article from the Fond du Lac Reporter from the first week of October 1930 but some parts of it are not very clear including the mention of the highways where these businesses where located. I am hoping to dig up a little further info on this occurrence. Thanks. Linda FELLRATH (researching FELLRATH in Fond du Lac)

She lived on the corner of S. Military Rd. and W. 1st St., the NE corner to be exact. She seemed to be very old then. She rented part of her hugh house out and she lived on the ground floor. She was always very nice to me. That is all I know about any Snow people in FDL. Wayne

TUFFLE SNOW served in the 1st Wisc. Cavalry during Civil War. I believe his parents were Joseph and Clara SNOW. They lived at least for a few years in Lamartine. TUFFLE was still living around 1908, and died probably around 1910 or so, in the Fond-du-lac area. I know he had siblings who lived in the area, as some came out to Minnesota around 1908 to seek assistance with the aging TUFFLE from his son, who at the time lived in Minnesota. Any info is greatly appreciated.
