Either I'm having way too much fun, or the sun is just going wacko on me (where is the sun anyway?). So besides me, here's some more old news: >From the Eau Claire Daily Telegram, Thursday, 26 March 1942: Society Briefs Twin sons were born to Mr. and Mrs. John Berg of Rock Falls on Monday, March 23. The following births have been reported at Sacred Heart hospital: A son was born on March 25 to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Riekemann, Fall Creek, route 4. Sons were born on March 24 to Mr. and Mrs. George Denson, 511 Wisconsin St., and to Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Zielsdorf, 1039 1/2 Emery Street, this city. A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rosenberg of Allen at Luther hospital on Wednesday morning, March 25. Sons were born on March 25 at Sacred Heart Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. John Hoepner, route 4, Eau Claire, and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Wathke, route 1, Fall Creek. The 45th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Sorenson, 311 N. Ninth street, will be celebrated with an open house on Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. E. Welch of Gilman announce the marriage of their only daughter, Carole Corrine, to Sgt. Robert E. S. Moloney, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Moloney, 606 1/2 Menomonie st., Eau Claire, at Esler Field Weather Station, Camp Beauregard, La. on March 19.
