Joahnn Steinke (no parents listed) was married to Lydia Amanda Bartz. Lydia Amanda Bartz's parents were Carl Julius Bartz and Ottilie Pauline Brummond. Lydia was born 10/4/1905 in Lincoln Township, Eau Claire Co, WI. She was baptised at St. John's 10/22/1905. Her sponsors were Maria Mieske and Eduard Bahr. She was confirmed at St. John's 8/15/1020. Lydia was the youngest (at least baptised at St. John's) of nine children: Caroline Emilie b. 1/24/1886 married Gustav Hermann Hass 3/24/1913 Hermann Friedrich b.7/26/1888 Lily Helene b. 10/28/1890 married Wilhelm Otto Hass 1/29/1913 Adaline Ottilie b. 4/14/1893 Walter Georg b. 12/17/1894 Edwin Wilhelm b. 3/6/1897 Wilhelmine Auguste Justine b. 4/12/1901 Anna Louise b. 8/21/1903 Johann and Lydia had a son named Carl Julius Steinke on 11/9/1929. He was baptised at St. John's on 12/22/1929. His sponsors were Mr. & Mrs. Reinhard Dehnke. He was confirmed at St. John's 6/4/1944. John Carl Walter Steinke (no parents listed) was born 7/25/1927 in Rockford, Winnebago Co, IL. He was confirmed at St. John's 5/25/1941. He married Norrine Mae Durham. John and Norrine had a daughter Lu ann born 6/23/1956. She was baptized at St. John's 7/8/1956. Her sponsors were Glenn and Laura Kutcher from Milwaukee, WI. There is more info on collateral line, but nothing else on John Carl Walter Steinke.
