Last summer I was in Eau Claire for a day and managed to find the graves of my great grandparents, John J. and Mary JOHANNES , in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Several of their children are buried there also as is a brother to my great grandfather. My dilemma is that I also found a Mathias J. Johannes among them that I can't place in my family tree. The marker says, Mathias J. Johannes 1870 1929. Can you suggest who I might contact to find an obituary for Mathias in 1929? It may be difficult considering it doesn't give a month of death.
