Hello! I am not sure just what to do with some old data, newspapers, pictures, a bible and letters that I recently received. I have a lot of data about the Uhl family that settled in Crystal Valley near Galesville, in Trempealeau County. I can not go into any details at this time...but if someone out there knows of any Uhl's that may be looking for ancestors from Trempealeau County...let me know. I also have some old "Galesville Independent" newspapers with obituaries of a number of local residents. (The current Galesville newspaper is the Galesville Republican) Most of these are from 1900-1920. The photos that I have are in beautiful condition, but unsure whether they are local or not...does anyone know how to identify photos? Any suggestions on how to identify the people? I would also like to find a place for reproduction of photos such as these. Some are mounted on cards which were inserted into albums. Others are of a form that I have never seen. I also have postcard albums...postcards mounted into albums. Some of them are historical buildings of the era, others are issues of the time, some are 3-D with moving parts and others are just beautiful postcards. Most are either dated by manufacturer or have date of postmark. This is a mountain of information for the right families...I just need help in finding those families. I suspect that someone, some where is looking for data on these people and I would like to connect them. Patsy
