I have pencils that say Jarvis Lumber Company, pictures of the mill and other things like church cookbooks that list the Jarvis Lumber Company as a sponsor. I can't find any information beyond that, though. I believe my great grandfather Arthur Jarvis was the founder or co-founder of the company. I also believe it was dissolved or sold during the later years of the Depression. Arthur Jarvis was also president of the Northern Wholesale Hardwood Lumber Association. Any information on the company or the man would be wonderful. Thanks.
