Daniel was the son of Philip Studebaker and grandson of Heinrich Studebaker who came from Solingen, Germany, to Pennsylvania. Daniel moved from Ohio to Indiana where he lived at Marshall County, and from Indiana to Jackson County, Wisconsin. Many of his children moved to Wisconsin from Indiana, including Abraham Wyland Studebaker and John Wyland Studebaker. Wyland comes from their mother, Nancy Hoover Wieland/Wyland Studebaker. Other than the census information available for John F. Studebaker, I have no information as to his wife or children.
