I grew up in Colfax in the seventies and both of my grandparents followed Pastor Ellingson for a number of years. I remember seeing slide shows of his adventures in Alaska when I was a child. I had no idea there was a book. I find this all very interesting, as I am now living in Alaska myself. Pastor Foslid of the Bethany Church in Colfax would possibly be able to lend a hand in the search for the book and/or Mrs. Ellingson. Hope this helps!
