Gabrielle was born July 26, 1918, in the Town of Ludington to Roy and Josephine (Showalter) Johnson. She was married to John Ecklor and Dana Clough, who both preceded her in death. She resided in Ridgeland for about the last 15 years. She loved crocheting, making quilts, and dancing. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Mark Wylie; a great-great-granddaughter, Sophia Rodriguez; and two brothers, Harold and Donald Johnson. She is survived by her sons, Larry (Rachel) Ecklor of Dallas, Bruce (Bonnie Bechel) Clough of Baldwin, Benjamin (Lorrie Metcalf) Clough of Connorsville, and Dana Lee Clough of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter, Ramona (Bruce) Nichols of White Bear Lake, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bunny Bellows of Eau Claire, Grace Daniels of Augusta, and Gwen Bloom of Dallas; three brothers, Howard and Dean Johnson of Eau Claire and Dorvan Johnson of Menomonie; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, from the Mark Rausch Funeral Home in Dallas with the Rev. Richard Robinson officiating. Visitation was from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment was in New Haven Cemetery in the Town of New Haven, Dunn County. Mark Rausch Funeral Service, Dallas and Cameron, handled arrangements.
