My father and I live in Alaska and is related to the Ellingson family that lived in Colfax. My father is originally from the Colfax area. I think the Paster and his wife are somehow related. My father brought a book from Rose a couple of years ago. I grew up in Colfax in the seventies and both of my grandparents followed Pastor Ellingson for a number of years. I remember seeing slide shows of his adventures in Alaska when I was a child. I had no idea there was a book. I find this all very interesting, as I am now living in Alaska myself. Pastor Foslid of the Bethany Church in Colfax would possibly be able to lend a hand in the search for the book and/or Mrs. Ellingson.
