I looked at every record for the surname "Ordemann". There is only ONE Johanna Ordemann and the birth date would be correct...so this is a possibility. Goerke, Wilhelm age 22 Port of Departure: Hamburg, Germany Country of Origin: Deutschland Family ID: 250270 Ship Name: Genio Port of Arrival: New York Date of Arrival: 16 Sept. 1846 I haven't yet checked for other family members. There is also a marriage record in the New York City Marriage Index 1600s to 1800s for a Johanna M. Ordemann, but I don't have access to that data file. Will have to check that out the old fashioned way.
