Karen, I show a John Cook living in Connorsville in 1880. On the Town Assessment roll, John owned 9 cattle and 1 swine, his personal property was valued at $50.00 . I have the assessment roll books for the years 1886-1898 if you know a specific year you would like looked up, just let me know. On the 1870 Plat Map, a COOK shows as owning 160 acres of land in section 15. In 1876 there was a Cooks Blacksmith shop. I don't know exactly where it was or who it belonged to.
