Hulbert Hazel M. Hulburt, 60, 33 N. Nill St., Barron, formerly of Rice Lake, died Friday afternoon at the Barron Memorial Medical Center. Funeral services were Tuesday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, Rev. Donald Howard officiating, with burial in Nora Cemetery, Rice Lake. The former Hazel Rossiter was born May 25, 1922, in Dunn County and was married to Fred Hulbert Dec. 1, 1938, In Menomonie. After residing in Menomonie for a number of years, they moved to Rice Lake in 1946, were they lived until 1977, when they moved to Barron. She had been employed by Jerome Foods in Barron for the past several years. Mrs. Hulbert was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, Jan. 8, 1982. She is survived by four sons, Donald of Rice Lake, David and Robert of Barron, Richard, Beloit; four daughters, Mrs. Barbara Anderson, Vienna, W.V., Mrs. Ruth Balog of Evansville, Mrs. Carol Swain and Debra Hulbert, both of Barron; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; seven sisters, Ethyl Gregory of Elk Mound, Louise McQuiston, Mesa, Ariz., Margie McQuiston and Myrtle Eisenhuth, both of Boyceville, Alice Acheson of Glenwood City, Mabel Dohms, Mondovi, Mary Knuth, Minot, N.D.; and one brother, Rolland Rossiter, Spring Valley. unknown newspaper unknown date c.
