Rosseter Charles Gaylen Rosseter, 81, Boyceville, died Tuesday, June 27 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born on April 3, 1897, in Dunn County, to Edson and Emma Billings Rosseter. He farmed in the town of Tiffany until his retirement in 1976. He married Hope Lyman on Dec. 29, 1938, in Red Wing, Minn. Services were held June 30 at the United Methodist Church in Boyceville, with the Rev. Paul Doering officiating. Burial was in Tiffany Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Hope, at home; a son, Charles R. of Tacoma, Wash.; two brothers: Robert of Cedar Falls and James of Bruce; two sisters: Mrs. Henry Wheeler and Mrs. Joseph Hong, both of Seattle, Wash.; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jerry; one brother, Bernam; and four sisters: Bernice, Leona, Margaret and Carrie. unknown newspaper ------------------------------------------------------ Charles Rosseter BOYCEVILLE - Charles G. Rosseter, 81, Route 2, died Tuesday at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire. The Dunn County native married Hope Lyman on Dec. 29, 1938, in Red Wing, Minn. Survivors include his wife; a son, Charles R., Tacoma, Wash.; two brothers, Robert, Cedar Falls, James, of Bruce; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Wheeler, Mrs. Joseph Hong, both of Seattle, Wash.; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at United Methodist Church, Boyceville, with burial in Tiffany Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at DeCamp-Everts Funeral Home, Glenwood City, and one hour before services Friday at the church. unknown newspaper -------------------------------------------------------- Charles Gaylen Rosseter dies at 81 Charles Gaylen Rosseter of the Town of Tiffany died Tuesday, June 27 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. He was 81. Rosseter was born April 3, 1897, in Dunn County. He was a life-long resident of Dunn County and farmed in the Town of Tiffany until his retirement in 1976. Rosseter married Hope Lyman on December 29, 1938, at Red Wing, Minnesota. Rosseter is survived by his wife, Hope; one son, Charles R. of Tacoma, Washington; two brothers, Robert of Cedar Falls and James of Bruce; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Wheeler and Mrs,. Joseph Hong, both of Seattle, Washington; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church in Boyceville on Friday, June 30 at 2:00 p.m. The Reverand Paul Doering officiated. Burial was at the Tiffany Cemetery in Boyceville. The organist was Mrs. Marie Polenec and the vocalists were Mr. and Mrs. John Brezina. The pallbearers were Myrland Hatleli, Alva Leach, Galen Leach, Delbert Rosseter, Carrol Wyss and Richard Sutliff. The DeCamp-Everts Funeral Home in Glenwood City was in charge of the funeral arrangements. unknown newspaper
