Kistner, 78, died April 14 at Memorial hospital. He was a resident of Menomonie route 4. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Apr. 20, at 2 p.m. at he New Hope Lutheran church, Downsville, the Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery, Downsville. Olson Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Mr. Kistner is survived by his wife, Rosella, and the following children: Chester, Menomonie route 4; Beryl, Mrs. Earl Stewart, Menomonie route 5; Darrell and Wesley, Menomonie route 4; Everett, Ridgeland; John, Bloomington, Calif.; and Viola, Mrs. Gordon Hoyt, Stockholm. He also leaves two half sisters, Mrs. Frances Storing, city, and Mrs. Anna Werner, St. Paul; two half brothers, Herb Kistner, Menomonie route 5, and Earl Kistner, Dallas, Ore.; 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Mr. Kistner was born in the town of Weston and lived in Dunn county all his life. The Dunn County News Menomonie, Wisconsin April 23, 1965
