I was told also that Emma died at about 100 years old from "eating green apples". Emma had sisters named Bertha who married a Palmer. A brother Edward Fred who was my grandfather. All of these people came from the Bayport(South Stillwater area). I remember seeing a copy of Emma's marriage license and she spelled her maiden name as Schmidt then she crossed it out and spelled it Smith. This was in the time of the first world war and there was much anti German sentiment at the time. If any of this seems familiar let me know and we can then exchange information. Any information you might have on these individuals would be appreciated.
