His wife was Elise Kristine (Friberg), and children at that time were Martha Alvhilda, Julius Bernhard, David Sigurd, Abel Edward, Elise Esther, twins Hildeborg Dagna and Ingeborg Magna, and Anna Josephine. His occupation is listed as farmer and school teacher. Their property was right on Sand Creek and wonder where he might have taught school, and also where one might find school records for this period.
