Dow, 80, Route 7, died Wednesday at Myrtle Werth Medical Center, Menomonie. Lulu Wood was born in the Cedar Falls area and married Russell Dow Sept. 21, 1927, in Menomonie. She lived in the Cedar Falls area all of her life. Survivvors include her husband; a son, Jerry, Eau Claire; two brothers, John, Seattle, Stephen, Menomonie; three sisters, Phyllis Schroeder, Virginia Stubb, both of Route 7, Menomonie, Norma Berends, Route 2, Menomonie; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Menomonie. There will be no visitation. The body will be cremated and ashes interred in Cedar Falls Cemetery, town of Red Cedar. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is handling arrangements. (Jan. 21, 1987) Newspaper clipping - no source listed
