COOK - At the home of his son, Robert Cook, in town of Red Cedar,Jan. 21, 1903,of old age, Nicholas Cook, aged 84 years. ---Mr. Cook came to Dunn county in 1845, being one of the earliest pioneers. His wife died 10 years ago. Three sons and three daughters survive as follows: Robert, William and Henry Cook and Mrs. J. B. Tainter, Mrs. Knutson and Mrs. Worth, all residents of this vicinity. The funeral will be held next Sunday, with interment in Iron Creek cemetery. The Dunn County News Menomonie, Wisconsin Janeuary 23, 1903 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nicholas Cook Wednesday, Jan. 21, Nicholas Cook of the town of Red Cedar, died at his home,being then eighty-four years of age. The deceased is an old settler o the county,having come here in 1845. He leaves three sons, Robert, Henry and William Cook, and also three daughters, Mrs. Burnham Tainter, Mrs. Knutson and Mrs. Worth. his wife's death occured about ten years ago. Mr. Cook's funeral will be held next Sunday,Jan. 25, interment to be made in Iron Creek cemetery.
