Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the home at 1:30 o'clock and at St. Paul's Lutheran church at 2 o'clock. The Rev. William Keturakat officiated. Burial was made in the church cemetery. Mr. Cook was born April 2, 1854, in Pennsylvania. he came to Dunn county with his parents at the age of four years and has lived on a farm in the town of Red Cedar, where he lived until he was thirty-one years old. He moved to his own farm in 1883, where he has lived since. On Nov. 25, 1885, Mr. Cook was married in Menomonie to Mary Beyer of the town of Red Cedar. Thirteen children were born to this union, two having preceded Mr. Cook in death. Surviving with Mrs. Cook are Mrs. E. C. Schroeder, Robert and Louis of the town of Red Cedar, William and Henry, Jr., of Menomonie, Arthur, Mabel, Merwyn and Irene at home, Mrs. Arthur Harms of St. Paul, and Nicholas of Eau Claire. One brother, Robert, of the town of Red Cedar; one sister, Mrs. Peter Wirth, of San Mateo, Cal., and sixteen grandchildren also survive. The Dunn County News Menomonie, Wisconsin June 21, 1928
