Grant COLE, farmer, Dallas, was born May 30, 1867, a son of William T. and Mary J. (SMITH) COLE, who came to Barron County in 1870 and located on the farm now owned by our subject. Mr. COLE spent his early life in this county, and his education has been received here, so that he is a thorough Barron County man. He married in October, 1889, to Miss Julia, daughter of John and Sarah (CLARK) O'FLANAGAN, who were among the pioneers of the county. This union has been blessed with one child, Mabel. Politically Mr. COLE is a strong adherent and advocate of the principles laid down by the democratic party.
