Oscar Homan was living in The are of Willson Village, Dunn County, Wisconsin in 1900. The census record shows ED:95 farm Schedule #80. It says they own the farm, are paying a mortgage. My guess is that they purchased the land sometime between 1898 & 1900 & may have sold it between 1900 & 1902 as the family has relocated to Grundy County, Illinois in 1902. Family lore says that he & his wife Lucy moved to EuClare Wisconsin in 1898, bought land, cleared it & built a cabin. Their first child was also reported to be in EuClair, but his birth record has been located as having been recorded in Barron County.
