Alfred and Knute died before 1930 as they are not on the 1930 census. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hester Hicks married John Smith they moved to Dunn Wi. I have a copy of Hester's death certificate. She died March 7, 1901 and is burried in Creaser Cemetery. Hester was the daughter of Levi Hicks who settled the Hicks Run area of Cameron/Elk County in 1804. We are having our second reunion this summer of Levi's decendents. Do you have an obituary for Hester? I would like to find the names of her children and grandchildren and maybe the decendents today. Linda

Henry married Sadie J Lind 30 Oct 1903. Sadie was born 13 Dec 1877 in Norway, dies 3 Dec 1916. Henry & Sadie had 7 kids: Hilmer"Hank", Clifford, Leonard (died as infant), Caroline, Pearl, Hazel and my grandmother-Anna (married name Wamboldt). Henry's parents were Hans Hanson and Anna (maiden name unknown). Sadie's parents were Jens Lind and Karn (maiden name unknown). I read in an old letter that Clifford & Gladys bought the Hanson family farm (in Colfax, I presume) in 1936.

I have learned that they are both buried in the Boyceville, WI. cemetery. Their son John Charles Sly & wife Blanch Eighmy are buried in the Forest Center cemetery near Falls City, WI. John R & Electa P had 4 children; Ida Mae b. 1866, Hettie A b. 1868, John C b. 1871 & Franklin A b. 1873. There is evidence that John H may have had a twin brother: Joseph C Sly. good hunting,
